Our quilters and their quilts are taking the world by storm! We’re incredibly proud to share the news that Denver Metro Modern Quilt Guild’s 2015 group quilt “Twisted Sisters” is one of the outstanding quilts included in the Modern Quilt Guild’s new book Modern Quilts: Designs of the New Century, which showcases some of the most ground-breaking work in the field of modern quilting.
Several quilts by individual DMMQG members are also featured in this stunning collection, notably Kari Vojtechovsky’s QuiltCon 2015 prize-winner “Emergent.”
We’re sure you’ll want to get a copy of this gorgeous book. Kari’s recent quilt “Synapse” is also published in this collection, with quilting by our guild Vice President Christine Perrigo.
There’s even more Denver Metro MQG talent in Modern Quilts: Designs of a New Century. Anne Deister’s striking minimalist quilt, “Rhythm and Blues,” is featured as well.
Our own Susan Santisteven quilted Amber Corcoran’s innovative “Cancer & Taurus” (Constellation Quilt), and Stephanie Ruyle’s award-winning “Embers” is also on display.
Congratulations to all the talented DMMQG artists featured in this incredible anthology!
